This may be embarrassing to modern muslims, but it is in fact a well-established fact of their history. Their prophet was a child molester. I have a 10-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter. If a 55-year-old self-proclaimed prophet wanted to cohabit with my daughter, I'd take a baseball bat to his head.


Yesterday, President Bush condemned the lack of rights for women behind the Islamic curtain. You cannot address the lack of rights for women politically without addressing the role of Islam in child marriage, female castration, and other abuses of women.

Try addressing polygamy, politically, as a subject without addressing the fact that underage girls are given to these old men sexually before age 14. You can't.

These abuses of women should be publicized, not hidden. And, I'm saying this not as a religious hater, but as a woman who lived for 10 years in Utah and saw at firsthand the abuses of polygamy against adolescent girls and the longterm ramifications on these young women.

Mohammed had sex with a 9-year-old girl. This is the basis of a tradition of female molestation that dates back a thousand years. Women in these scenarios are uneducated and without rights. They cannot rescue themselves. They lack economic skills. This is happening around the world, and in the U.S.

It's time to start telling the truth about it, even if it offends people.

Western progressives need to immediately call the middle east to accountability for crimes against women. I do not know how any progressive, including Jimmy Carter, can make common cause with people who:

1) physical disfigure women sexually in horrific ways that forever deny them sexual pleasure and cause longterm pain and suffering.
2) Marrying underaged women off to old male pedophiles.
3) Deprive women of the right to live their lives freely and openly, including operating motor vehicles, dressing as they choose, and voting.
4) Require the religious murder (called "honor killings") of women who violate religious traditions.

Progressives making any excuse for "negotiating" with these people without immediate social reforms is sickening.

Very well said. Great post. The only thing I would add is how astonishing it is that it is the democrats and the "liberals" so focused on defending the totalitarian ideology of islam. It really makes no sense as they are much closer in worldview to Republicans than muslims, who wouldn't agree with just about any other issue with the dems aside from their desire to appease the evil of islam. Heck most muslims, if not all, would proudly kill liberals for their views, except for the idea we should tolerate such evil, tolerate islam's totalitarianism.

Yes, Muhammad was a child molester. I agree with that. And lots of people have talked about that, including this Christian minister of a megachurch in Dallas, who was busted the other day by the FBI for attempting to have sex with a 13 year old girl.

It is very simple. It does not matter whether one is Muslim, Christian, or any other religion. When they attempt to dictate and legislate morality to the rest of us, they ALL have something to hide.

This is exactly why Theocracy is a bad thing.
