I would tend to agree. In that vein, I would submit that the Germans of the time we're discussing were superior in that they accorded women more respect than the Jews did theirs.

I think that's arguable. Women had little worth AT THAT TIME in the southern Germanic tribes unless they were attached to a man of standing. Certainly, they had nothing resembling equality in status. Not like the Celts of the british isles, I might add.

But many of them were indeed enslaved by the Romans when they invaded Gaul and Spain.

Free to be put in a wicker cage and burned by those who maintained the "holy groves", or to be slaughtered and have your entrailed examined to predict the future. The Roman sources, at least, are clear that at this time, the Druids were still engaging in human sacrifice, the Jews, in spite of their failings, were not.

that female circumcision utterly removes the capacity of women to gain sexual pleasure by removing the primary sexual organ of women, the clitoris...

And male circumcision removes an unnecessary membrane that does not cause loss of sexual pleasure.
