So many people, like Gandhi, despise the Christian faith and Jesus because of the way people misrepresent Him. If all I new about Christ was from t.v. preachers and those who make the news, I would have rejected Him too. However, when you look at who Jesus was an what He did and said, it soon becomes very clear that the lives of many American Christians don't follow His example. LEt me just say this. Please try to look at Christ instead of His followers. They are imperfect. We all mess up. Those who act like they are perfect really don't know Christ themselves. They are merely "blind leaders of the blind."

I am simply a follower of Christ. I don't fall into any denomination. I love Jesus. I am imperfect and sinful and therefore need a Savior.

I was a Christian for many years. Born Catholic, married into the Baptist Church, and later attended several non denominational, full gospel, charismatic, and evangelical churches.

So what brought on the change? Was is something Christ said or something a Christian said or did? I have been to all of the above except Catholic. I have had my share of bad experiences in churches. However, Jesus once asked if He would find faith still on the Earth when He returns. He said there would only be a few real people of faith in the last days so this isn't a bug surpise. I continued to look to Christ because His teachings have had a positive impact on my life.
