From 1789 and 1801 during the French Revolution, the reactionary religious element of French society from destroyed, and although the tactics were brutal the result was astonding, France got a remarkable secular civil culture and the old regime was thoroughly destroyed, even to this day the secular culture of French politics is evident.

So, given the obvious, does America need a DeChristianization? I think it does.

I don't think so.
I believe the world would be better off without religion, but religion is impossible to destroy and any method to attempt it creates worse problems.

A "deChristianization" would merely lead to a more fundamentalist Christianity and a lot of nasty violence... and for what? Overall realism wins over religion where it really counts.

Eliminating Christianity is one of the first things communist and fascist dictators have done in the past.

No surprise you want to do the same.

I'd prefer that occur peacefully and gradually (as is currently the case), unlike the brutal French revolution. I don't think the French Revolution is a model for anything except chaos, bloodshed, and mayhem.

Look at the rest of Europe, which is even less Christian than France. No decapitations were required.

Religion is fine. It's not hurting anyone. Except for homosexuals. And, no just homosexuals.
