Default Religion is Grand and All.............

But radicals are starting to (*)(*)(*)(*) me off. In this case, Muslim radicals.

Read this and tell me what you think:

"The war against free speech is advancing rapidly: Associated Press reported Thursday that “Muslim countries have won a battle to prevent Islam from being criticised during debates by the UN Human Rights Council.” Council President Doru-Romulus Costea explained that religious issues can be “very complex, very sensitive and very intense…This council is not prepared to discuss religious matters in depth, consequently we should not do it.” Henceforth only religious scholars would be permitted to broach them."

By the way, I'm not sure if someone else has already posted this. But this is dangerous. Why wouldn't radicals of ANY religion try spreading this directly to our country, and not just the U.N?

This smacks of when religious texts were only printed in Latin or Greek so western European serfs couldn't read them; its a medieval idea that allows an upper crust of "scholars" to use religion to oppress the underlings. Bad news, this.

I guess the UN thinks letting these religious radicals off with that crap, is better than being bombed.
