How do Muslims justify the the fact that the Prophet Mohammed (age 54) married Aisha when she was 6-years-old and consummated the marriage with her when she was 9.

That's perfectly normal behavior. "Women" can give consent to sexual relations at age 9, according to Islamic theology. There is literally almost no such thing as the crime of rape under Sharia law. Womens' testimony counts as less believable than mens' testimony, and women who complain of being raped are actually likely to be charged as criminals themselves for "sex crimes."

Being gay/lesbian, however, is sick and sinful.

It's a distorted worldview, to say the least.

I doubt that you will get many responses as this is a shameful part of their history that they prefer to deny or rewrite, even though MODERN SHARIA LAW in Iran reflects the circumstances of the prophet's marriage to Aisha.
