Non-Christian. Atheist in fact. I do not celebrate it at all. I have worked in the past on christmas day to allow others who enjoyed the day to take off. I do not exchange gifts. When I was a child i was in a Christian family and we did as i was part of the family and still participated in that belief I enjoyed the day. After I was 12 or so the day lost meaning for me. I was in that home until i was 18 and have not celebrated it since. i think that would be most hypocritical on my part.

Indeed, Christianity succeeded largely by incorporating elements of the old religions from which they hoped to draw converts. Hence, the Germanic yule logs, etc. Note: Yule logs (actually spelled Jule logs) were gathered in the Germanic month of Jule, which is July.
Yup. But I'd look like trailer trash with Christmas lights up in March or July.

Non-Christian. Atheist in fact. No i do not celebrate the day at all. i treat it and the season as usual. In the past i have worked for some people so that they could enjoy the day. They were of course Christian. As a child i grew up in a Christian home and we did celebrate the day with all the trimmings. It was enjoyable.

The day began to lose it's glimmer when i was about 12. As I was still living in my parents home I participated in the day. I moved out when i was eighteen . I have not celebrated the day at all. I believe that it would be hypocritical on my part.

When i worked in an office I made it very clear at the holiday that I did not take part in parties or the artificial exchange of gifts. Only a few times did this cause resentment. The resentment was not my problem. If it hurts someones feelings that i wouldn't take part in a grab bag it's on them.

Yes I do. My sisters and I meet at my parents for opening presents and then we go to my Aunt's house for dinner. Usually at my Aunt's we get more presents (alcohol for the adults).

I do celebrate the day, but not as a Christian holiday. It's a nice family time.

Yeah, I see it as a family holiday rather than a religious one. Both my sets of parents celebrate but my in-laws don't (though they did when my wife was a kid, so that she wouldn't feel left out).

The holiday has evolved past its "Christian" roots. There's room for everyone to celebrate or not as he or she chooses. If you are a devout Christian, more power to you. If you are not, it's kinda hard for me to find some reason to criticize you for taking a few weeks out of the year to think about giving to others and enjoying the fellowship that comes with the holiday.

I don't understand how anybody other than Christians can even celebrate Christmas!
I'm not Christian and I celebrate it. If you read a little on the history of Christmas you will find it has far less to do with Christ or His birth than you might think. And the modern Christmas was a purely corporate invention. One can easily celebrate it as a purely secular holiday. I know I do. I never give Christ a second thought. Or even a first thought for that matter.

I celebrate Christmas and Im not Christian. I think it is more a National holiday a time where the good in men is celebrated, a time where you celebrate the beauty of nature and see the happiness of children.

I also celebrate Halloween and I'm not a pagan or a wiccan.
