Jesus was a descendant of David. David was a Descendant of Isaac, whose father was Abraham and this is the direct lineage of Jews.

Interestingly enough, Ishmael was also the son of Abraham. He was the founder of Ishamaelite tribes that spread from Egypt to what is known today as Iraq. Many of the modern-day Arab peoples correctly recognize that they are the descendants of Ishmael, while the Jews, and the rest of the Israelites, are descendants of Isaac - but all are descended from Abraham

Historically, Christians aren't even kind to Christians.

I love how only Arab blood is precious, though. Dead Jews? Who cares! That must be why Jesus is suddenly “Arab”, instead of Jewish.

It doesn’t suck being Jewish. I’ve been Wiccan, Atheistic, Buddhist, and for a week I was a vegetarian (haha), but I came back to Judaism. I like it. All the rest of that stuff is their problem, not ours.

It’s interesting that you say that because I was just reading a genetics study that was claiming to prove that both Jews and Palestinians comes from the same ancestry. According to this study The Canaanites, instead of being wiped out by the Israelites moving in, instead mixed with them. And the Palestinians claim to be descendants of the Canaanites (I don’t know if this is true or not, but if not isn’t that a very convenient and slanderous analogy for the current situation there.) So, if all that is true, then it is a case of really old sibling rivalry.

I guess that depends on what era you are talking about and what nation. Historically, Christians in Muslim nations are not treated very kindly at all. In modern history being a Christian is illegal in many Muslim nations. Go figure.
