It’s interesting that you say that because I was just reading a genetics study that was claiming to prove that both Jews and Palestinians comes from the same ancestry. According to this study The Canaanites, instead of being wiped out by the Israelites moving in, instead mixed with them. And the Palestinians claim to be descendants of the Canaanites (I don’t know if this is true or not, but if not isn’t that a very convenient and slanderous analogy for the current situation there.) So, if all that is true, then it is a case of really old sibling rivalry.

..is it a case of SIBLING RIVALRY, but it is also over land: ie - JERUSALEM!! I believe in what you have stated above. If you follow Hagar and Ishmael's path after they fled Ur (I believe), they ultimately ended up in Canaan where the land was bountiful and numerous tribes resided (Moabites, Amalekites, Ammonites, Philistines etc...) Even the Moabites are included in the genealogy of Jesus Christ.. (Ruth, the wife of Boaz was a Moabite)

If only the Palestinian radicals would recognize ISRAEL'S right to exist, we probably wouldn't be in this situation.

What do I know? I am just a lowly African peon...

I just recently ran across the Biblical (in Hebrew) description of Christ. He definitely had a swarthy complexion, light brown hair and believe it or not, blue eyes. In fact, I was amazed that the description so closely resembled Mel Gibson's version. Mel said he went by the Hebrew and the Greek. I've seen no reason to disbelieve him.
