What is the difference from that and your definition of atheism?

Agnostic - I believe there is a God but I just don't believe you or anyone else know who he is.
Aethist - I don't know if there is or isn't a God (and frankly don't care), but I do believe you cannot prove He/She exists.

There is a difference here. An aethist would never concede there is a God, an agnostic person would.

Exactly.
My theory is that a lot of those called atheists really are "fake atheists".

Not much. That agnostic would really be an atheist, based on the last part of the sentence, "so I chose to not believe".

I already explained why I do not consider agnosticism to be an actual position.

And I think that was a good point.

Agnosticism boils down to not believing in god, because you dont know and go with what's more likely.
So my theory is, what you call atheism is agnosticism and atheism is a
belief like theism, just in something else.

You disagree. But do I make sense?

Not necessarily, there is such a thing as agnostic theism. Basically, they believe in the existence of a deity, but acknowledge the fact that they really cannot know whether or not it is true. In actuality, these people are just "weak" theists. The only difference from other theists is that most religious followers believe that the know for a fact that God exists, while the agnostic theist is a bit more rational about it.

So in other words, there can be agnostic theists and agnostic atheists. Though as I pointed out, sticking the "agnostic" label on there is more or less redundant, as it merely makes a statement of fact either way.

I don't agree, but I believe I understand the point you are trying to make.
