Default Mel Gibson's Passion for the Dollar

I’ve noticed a couple of commercials lately about a new and improved version of “The Passion of The Christ” that is coming soon to a theater near me. Although I thought the original movie was good (for moviegoers who understand why Jesus endured such cruelty), I was really turned off by “The Passion” Franchise. Seeing paraphernalia like nails being peddled was beyond poor taste and seriously made me nauseous. Considering Mel grossed nearly $700 million off of the first version, does it seem like he is being a bit greedy or am I being too judgmental?

Default .........

Mel's obviously got plenty of money. If you look at many of his productions, you'll see that his own 'passion' leads him to choose his projects.
