I can’t understand what Saakashvili is trying to get? It’s well-known that he is not a wise and far-sighted politician. But more interesting is that he is continuing to show for people his own unfoundedness. Look, at first he agreed with Chechens about their wintering in Pankisi behind Europeans’ back but then during his Latvia visit in October of this year he changed his mind. What is it? I can’t find any suitable explanations for it. Well, I think that on the whole Saakashvili did wrong promising refuge to Chechens in Pankisi. I don’t know exactly but I think that it would be better if he addressed Poland for example, and told them that they have big experience in it and that he needs help. And Poland really could help him. Instead Saakashvili is making situation worse not only in Georgia (Chechens promised to realize operation of retribution) but in most part of European countries as well. The fact is that Chechens are angry and will take revenge on all infidels even on those loyal to Chechens.
