Ukrainian regions that are opposing to “Orange” power are exposed to most terrible cataclysms. Evidently Yushchenko has considered himself as God sending here pestilence there cold and famine.
First Crimea had been suffered. Bird flu epidemic is spreading there up till now and central power is absolutely inactive. Instead just before election Crimea will be put in quarantine and millions of citizens won’t be able to vote (and they were going to vote against present government). When winter came Yushchenko started to freeze inhabitants of opposition eastern regions. Entire towns are frozen out. For instance Lugansk district, Alchovsk town. Now its inhabitants are evacuated so they fall out of election either. What resourcefulness!! While east of the country suffers from record hard frost fuel resources are sent to loyal to Orange party western regions with much milder climate. I call that genocide on the basis of political preferences! |

verence, do you not know how to read ? It was your freinds the Russians who cut off the gas and casue the disruption in gas supplies. It was youe friend Rasputin who employed the gas war to try and punish inddependent thinking Ukrainians for wanting to become civilized again as they once were before there even was a Russia.
Russian duplicity and genocide is nothig new. Remember history teaches us of the Great FAMINE ? Russia killed millions of inocent Ukrainians through hunger. Now your friends the Russian facsists have given you the cold boot. And you still want to kiss it just like that Belarus dog Lukashenko !!!! Or maybe you are complaining about Yushchenko a Ukrainian patriot because you are a Russian and you want to get your empire back. Well freeze, I do not care !!!!!!!

supersabr, you're hopeless. Russians rised the price to European level, because Ukrainians wanted to be independent from Russia, live without Russia, as part of Europe. Now they got what they desired - independence, but there's a problem - they can't afford it. lol!
There're only two options in this world: 1. you can afford independence and you're independent. 2. you can't afford independence and you are not independent. Options like 3. you can't afford independence, but you want to be independent so much that somebody should pay for your independence are not allowed any more. So choose between 1 and 2. |

And one more thing to add. Supersabr, some of your views on famine are disputable, but they're nevertheless based on undisputable fact that Ukraine was part of USSR back then and USSR had to take care of Ukraine. Now Ukraine is independent country, it does not belong to Russia in any way, so Russia isn't obliged to take care of Ukraine anymore. Ukrainian problems are not problems of Russia. Ukraine should take care of itself, if it's truly independent, not just on words.
