"As it’s known there are two “magic” concepts, which make even pretty intelligent people in the West react inadequate and ideolized way. That reaction looks like it’s in their genetics. Those concepts are the USSR (Empire) and KGB (agents and security forces)
In connection with that fourth message as understood western elite is final Russian denial from Empire ambitions met sectretely the greatest approval.
The matter is about de jure end of Union State with Belorussia about international solving of Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Pridnestrovye conflicts on the basis of observance “territory entirety” of Georgia and Moldavia and finally about Chechenia and whole the Northern Caucasus.
It’s the most curious part of the “programm” which inofficially appered to the pleasurable mazement of western participants as an initiative from the Moscow.
The main message was northern Caucasus is weird if to compare culturally with the other part of Russia, economically overburdening, it should be maintained financially, in criminal field it’s a real center of spreading ethnic criminal groups and terrorism.
Because of all that reasons Russian liberals belive that Northern Caucasus must be excluded from Russian Federation and fenced by comletelly full state boundary.
By the way, it’s very interesting that liberals from Moscow and their western interlocutors interpreted what is geographical Northen Caucasus in different ways.
First stated that it’s from dagestan til the Karachay-Cherkesia inclusive. And the second side didn’t forget about Adigha (Circassian) Genocide of 19 century, which took place on the left coast of Laba and Kuban Rivers and seaside from Adler to the Anapa.
Obviously, such a vision is not mere sympathy of West to the Adigha historical tragedy but strategical significance of the Black sea coast."
