TALLINN, Estonia (AP) - Jewish leaders and politicians from Estonia and Israel celebrated the opening Wednesday of a new synagogue in Tallinn, six decades after the previous house of worship was destroyed in World War II.
Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Israeli Vice Premier Shimon Peres cut the red ribbon at the front of the $2 million, 180-seat ultramodern synagogue after the Torah scrolls were brought inside amid music and dancing.
The Jewish community in Estonia are rebuilding.
The 5000 Jews of Estonia where wiped out in the Holocaust and Estonia was the only country to be declared "Judenrein" now there is a community of 3000.

# Judenrein- like Judenfrei, only this term carried with it the notion a a purifying or cleansing, not only of an area but of a bloodline: it meant a purging of the Jews from the race and land.

That is showing no matter what evils come that life does prevail.
But should Peres have been invited, as he is a Holocaust denier (The Armenian Holocaust)?
