Default Parliamentary election in Ukraine brings in new era?

So, one more parliamentary election has come to pass in Ukraine. We don't know final results yet, but what we do know, is that population of Ukraine got fed up and disappoint with the ruling pro-Western elite of the country in the lead of president victor Yushchenko and his former sidekick Yulia Timoshenko. These two may not actually be considered patriots of their homeland 'cause they are not politicians who work for the well-being of their country - they are oligarchs who act in their own self-interest incompatible with the nation's general interest so they are acting to the detriment of all Ukrainians.
I am a member of independent observer group. We were monitoring the election procedure in Ukraine and also canvassed public opinion. According to the results of our enquiry, about 80 per cent of population of Ukraine is deeply dissatisfied with Yushchenko and Timoshenko. According to the information from some other observer groups and our own information, Victor Yanukovich's Party of Regions enjoys confidence of the vast majority of people of Ukraine. As the election indicates, so-called "orange revolution" that was put into effect through the force of support of the West, was a great-great mistake. Both Yushchenko and Timoshenko gave disappointment and failed to build democracy in Ukraine being entirely occupied with their self-interest and split-up. How sad it is! There is only hope that after years of stagnation Ukrainians were able to make the right choice. Well, we'll se in a short while.

Default why did almost 46% vote for those two !!!

If 80% were deaply dissapointed with Yushchenko and Timoshenko why did almost 46% vote for those two !!!

What the Ukes should do now is look at who is a partber of the pro-Russian traitor Yanukovich !! You got kolega it's your Communist friends. Now that is one great team a pro-Russian traitor Yanukovich and the Communists !!
A team of traitors !!

The latest line is Tymoshenko 31.5 per cent, Yushchenko, 15 per cent of the vote, So that is about 46.5% for the good guys.

The traitor Yanukovych got 33 per cent, the Commnists 5.1 %

The wild card is Lytvyn at about 4 % If Lytvyn becomes a traitor again he will bow down to the chief traitor Yanuk !!\ If Lytvyn wants to be a man again he will side with the Orange !!

The traitorous Socialists are at @3 % and Yushchen and Luliya must cut a deal with those Pinkoes that way if Lytvyn turns traitor again and Yanuk gets the other dribble parties the Socialists can be the king makers of the Orange and the Orange will have to deal !

Default Orange alliance ‘inching ahead’

The traitor Yanukovich will be he would be 1.66 percentage points behind.

Quote:
Viktor Yanukovych, the Prime Minister, also declared victory, but while his Regions Party is set to be the single biggest in parliament, he lagged behind the combined tally of the Orange coalition. Even if he formed an alliance with smaller parties, he would be 1.66 percentage points behind, according to figures based on 98 per cent of the ballot.

Default 1.31% left to count, it's leaning Orange!!

Quote:
With 98.69 percent of all votes counted, the Socialists had only 2.88 percent of the vote. Zhanna Usenko-Chorna, a member of the Central Election Commission, said that was unlikely to change.

"The Socialists' results have fallen through the day and we do not have evidence to say that their percentage can rise," Usenko-Chorna said on Channel Five television.

Without the Socialists, the biggest alliance Yanukovych could form would still trail 1.5 percentage points behind its pro-Western rivals, according to the latest vote count.

Default smart moves by Timoshenko

You could like her or not, but what she announced lately, I'd consider as very strong moves.
1. No army drafts starting 2008. Conversion to complete contract based military.
2. Promise to compensate all funds lost by Ukranians when the USSR ceased to exist.

These moves to be extremely popular, not just among the people of Ukraine, but people of Russia too. It's a big slam to Putin's Russia, which still can't find a money for these 2 steps!
