Thread: Does Anyone Know Why Pravda Eng. Forum Is Down?

Default Does Anyone Know Why Pravda Eng. Forum Is Down?

It seems to me that place shuts down every time things get interesting in the Middle East for some reason. I often wonder if the Grand Poobahs there pull the plug to avoid controversy.

I had wished to post the you tube vid of the Syrian government troops burying that rebel fellow alive and the new article about the US moving it's stealth fighters to Iran's borders, but Pravda.ru English version conveniently broke down and is unavailable.

    the BS got too deep?
What you have whispered to someone behind closed doors will be shouted from the rooftops.
I don't want to set the world on fire-just parts of it.

I did not know that there was such a Forum .
If it has any relation to the Newspaper of the same name , beware .
Pravda has morphed over the years and now is a cross between a Kremlin propaganda medium and a comic , as per some of our UK tabloids .
It is many times more awful than RT which politically is itself simply a Kremlin tool , overseen by the FSB .
The only good news is that for reasonably bright people Pravda is self evidently for mugs and the gullible .

Pravda Online is like the National Enquirer of Russia and it's English forum has degenerated into a primarily Middle Eastern concern. It was a fun place to poke the the nutters. It got so bad that you couldn't call a person a "kook" and the words "smart people" would show up instead unless you seperated the letters like this: k o o k.

Anyway, quite a number of the normal posters gave up on the place, although not entirely and I wondered if anyone who is here now knew what happened? I work a lot and so I might have missed the reason why "Page Not Found" pops up whenever I go there.

I also would be interested to know , given your comments .
It suggests that even the FSB finally realised when they were getting nothing back for their time and effort .
But because the whole place is Paranoid permanently and still politically in Cold War mind set , they will have produced something else apart from the RT upgrade .
Anybody know ? Stupid question to put to Fox viewers , but you never know .

Hey Ray - Georgian kook "Anybody know?" is wrong. Much more better to say " Anybody knows?" or " Does Anybody know ?"

Actually, "Anybody knows?" would be horribly wrong. "Does anybody know?" would also be correct.

"Anybody knows?" sounds like that lead guitarist from Dethklok on Metal Apocalypse.

Does anybodies knows whats I ams talkings abouts?

Your teacher will have to go , Evil .
That is normal English . A simple interrogative .
"Anybody knows" , is totally incorrect . It is either , Nobody knows , or , Everybody knows
But some know , or , many know , or even, none know .
It's difficult but a good spy needs to be 100% accurate . It is the details which get them caught .

Incidentally was that your FSB who planted the bombs in Dnepropetrovosk , yesterday?
It had all the typical signs of a badly thought through operation . Tried to make it look as though Yulia's supporters or sympathisers were responsible .
Mind you , she is a phoney . All her food coming in from a restaurant every day , doctor on daily call and self inflicted bruises . Plus a cell fridge full of the best food to support her "Hunger Strike" .
