Probably the relationships would be better after Merkel get go, not earlier. But, no one chancellor will dill with Russia which harass opposition, is highly corrupt and criminal.

Mrs. Hannelora Kraft has the best chances to win elections in Germany. She is from the West Germany and an Economist.

Buchanan says: “Political Correctness is Cultural Marxism, a regime to punish dissent and to stigmatize social heresy as the Inquisition punished religious heresy. Its trademark is intolerance.By classifying its adversaries as haters, or mentally ill... James Burnham says:"Liberalism is the ideology of Western suicide", might today to be compared to the HIV virus that destroys the immune system

The both countries have more in common and more equal mentality.

For the Russians a visa United States is also a complex issue, but rather easier to get a Germany visa . This problem is due to emigration. And what is interesting from Russia goes largely not morally pure emigrations, and therefore it is not surprising that about Russia in the West has bad opinion.
What would not say "Democratic" European press of Russia, the reality is otherwise. Whoever he was Chancellor of Germany in the economic relations between Russia and Germany will remain on the same level .
We do not have the opposition of which you speak, there are only a bunch of idiots who masked by "high words" in hope to take a piece of cake of power.

The EU don't yet know how to break wind forcefully and so far have only been nuisance value as far as old Russia is concerned .

How are you going to blame America for George Soros? If anything, blame the Nazi's for missing one.
Funny how when one talks of trade, national borders are imaginary. When one talks of immigration, national borders are imaginary. But when one talks of expansionism and imperialism, national borders become very real.

As to political activity in Russia. There are many good ppl in opposition . But part of oppositionists as Nemtsov, Kasyanov , Putin’s “godfather” Berezovsky are just corrupt bastrds who fighting against other corrupt bastrds - Putin and his entourage. Our parliamentary so-called “system opposition” is too weak and those old clowns Zyuganov and Zhirinovsky definitely must be fired.

In my view Russia needs some new politicians like late Viktor Ilyukhin, Ron Paul or maybe Marine Le Pen.

    George Soros ?
Oh boy . You have not the foggiest what went on .
One of these days I will tell you exactly how the US literally scammed every bit of Gold from Russia .They literally emptied the cupboard .
Then you might learn how the US wrecked the rouble .
From US perspective it was one of the very few things that they did well and it worked .
And that ignores how the US wrecked them in Afghanistan by supporting the war lords through the Pakistan SIS ( Osama , in fairness , might never have realised he worked for the CIA ) and then created the Taliban .

The global regime, elite, cabal, cartel, whatever the (*)(*)(*)(*) one wants to call them represent themselves, not nations. They hail from every inch of God's green earth. Only the common men are loyal to nations, and nations should never be held accountable for the damage the "global community" has done. I will never hold a Russian accountable for the things a globalist from Russia does, and I expect the same from them. One day when they are wiped off the face of the earth, we can drink and be merry, before we go back to real wars to see who has the right to exist.

Boris is the one who could have made Russia great .
He was and is a financial genius .
Of course he has been demonised , but he is no better or worse than any other Russian alive and making a bit on the side ( 99.9%).
He used to run rings round his pupil , Putin , who wanted Boris to take the Presidency when Boris told him they were going to make him Yeltsin's family successor .
That actually was a great error of judgement which , one day , I would like Boris to explain .
