Yep, Serbia is surrounded. That is the problem we must find a solution for. Either join them, or... I don't know. We are to tiny to oppose.

I'm certainly not opposed to Serbia joining NATO.

But you'll have to get past the Kosovo thing first. Most NATO nations recognize Kosovo as sovereign.

Nope. Spain, Greece, Romania are in NATO too, yet they don't recognize Kosovo. And nobody forced them out of NATO because of that. Neither does EU force us to recognize Kosovo in order to enter the organization.

This was a friendly "interception", since those MIGs were supposed to do an airshow in Canada.
Late reply to this.

Well I stand corrected then.

Well where is the pipeline coming from? It has to be going through one of your neighbors.

This is what we got and where we got it, in terms of USAF capabilities exclusive to what the Air Guard has.

If the Russians can top it, I'd be surprised.

Just add the Navy/Marine inventory plus the Army whirlybirds....

I'd say the United States controls the skies.

I know you guys are tired of hearing the "which aircraft are at which base" question so I figured I'd try to help out.

Unless Kosovo enters the EU as well.

The southern GAZPROM pipeline would go through Bulgaria to Serbia.

European people were fighting for their freedom long ago before Americans as such even existed, so please, don't take such arrogant statements. Here many houses and temples are older than anything in USA. Thank you very much.

I think that only region that stepped out from EU (not STATE, a region!) is good example of how one state can be partially in EU and partially not.
That is same principle that can be adopted with Kosovo within Serbia (if we take attitude that Kosovo is Serbia), by my opinion.

So that makes statement of Serbian prime minister that it is choice between EU and Kosovo - invalid.
