Thats why they are more reliable. Because they have a real incentive to present the facts correctly.

Which is what?

Marketshare. Because people will not watch them if they believe they are unreliable or too biased.

Marketshare = profit. So no mainstream news organization will risk losing marketshare by being exposed in a lie. Even a small loss can mean millions of dollars of revenue to someone like Fox/CNN/BBC/MSNBC or others.

Non-mainstream sites dont care because they already have no marketshare. So they have a lot less to lose.

Because Americans have access to many different types of media. We have no media that is outlawed, and we receive news from many different sources (not the least of which is the internet).

There are many many Americans that share your views. If they could catch CNN/FOX/whoever in a lie and prove it, they would do so in a heartbeat. CNN/FOX/MSNBC know this, which is why they will never actually lie about a fact deliberately, although they will spin it in favor of their position.


Believe what you want. I'm explaining why no one will buy your biased sources. If you want to convince anyone who doesn't already agree with you, you will need to use mainstream media sources.

Yes, but in this specific situation you cannot find mainstream media. NATO forces' websites (which you consider mainstream and accurate) are too shy to tell everyone that an old fashioned G4 Super Galeb (not even supersonic) destroyed 12 brand new pieces of military equipment - so praised around the world...
