The Serbian army isolated the Kosovo-Albanian population to fight a guerilla war with the KLA. It is a known tactic to isolate the population in a guerilla rebellion, and has been done by many countries:Spain - Napoleonic Wars & Cuba, Britain - Greece & Cyprus, Germany - Franco-Prussian war, US - Phillipino War, and many more examples.

Given all the crap Serbia pulled with the breakaway republics (Bosnia in particular), it wasn't worth giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Serbian military in 1999 did very well all thing considered and wasn't much harmed by the NATO forces.

Serbs did not kill even 5000 Albanians, including terrorists and KLA.

On the other hand, the Albanians, supported by USA and NATO, chased out 300,000 Serbs from Kosovo.

Not true. In Croatian and Bosnian conflict, the most victimized people were the Serbs.

Number of Serbian victims: around 150,000
Number of Croatian victims: around 100,000
Number of Moslim vistims: around 50,000

It is not in Serbian blood to do that. Serbs do not kill women and children, except that lunatic Mladic who was not supported by Belgrade when he massacred the people in Bosnia. But he was provoked by Moslim massacre of Serbs before the Srebrenica incident.

You cannot put that on a whole nation, blaming Serbs to be a genocide people. You make a killer out of the victim...

I'm not saying all Serbs are like that. Just that too many must have been and more importantly they were acting with government support and I have to suspect popular support.

Now if you go back far enough a lot of countries have dark pasts. However this was very recent, and just as important it doesn't sound like things are whole lot friendlier now.

Milosevic did have his own "squadrons of death" which he used in such occasions. These "special forces" were all members of highly criminalized groups and had nothing to do with Serbian regular army and ordinary people. The nineties in the Balkans were the time of birth for such groups and people.

One of those "special forces" were the JSO, AKA Red barrets, or "The wolves", which organized and conducted the assassination of Serbian prime minister Djindjic in 2003. Most of them are behind bars now.

But I repeat, these individual cases have nothing to do with the vast majority of Serbs who are peace loving and very hospitable people. If you come to Serbia one day, you will find out what I am talking about.
