Based on the MiG-29M OTV, MiG-35 (Nato reporting name Fulcrum F), is equipped with advanced avionic suite comprising of a modern glass cockpit designed with three 6x8 inch flat-panel LCDs and full HOTAS controls, digital map, helmet-mounted sight. The latest Zhuk-AE active electronically scanning array (AESA) radar is mounted on this aircraft. This radar was developed with modular approach, enabling upgrading existing Zhuk ME/MSE radars, into the phased array equipped MFE/MSFE standard, deployed in MiG-29/Su-27 platforms.

I dont see the F-22 or JSF on that list. Do you? I didnt see any mention that it had any passive stealth capability.

Congratulations...the Soviets have managed to catch up to our 1980s era fighters. We're all impressed.

I think the one you meant was the Mig39, not the Mig35.

The Mig 39 fits the description above, and is (supposedly) comperable to the F-22. As far as I know they are not in production and not scheduled to enter production any time soon.

NATO has 600+ based in Western Europe

Russia still flies the Tu-95 and E2000 + Tornado fighters now interecpt them daily - now that Russia can once again afford the aviation fuel costs - they play their cold war games again.

Thank goodness that we kept investing in new technologies after the Soviet collapse - It has meant we are now 10 to 20 years ahead in technological terms

Russia will attempt to steal the technologies using spies.


These are just one reason why Russia will just grumble about Kosovo and nothing more - we must stay ahead though

Actually I think that's dipping. Again we haven't really put these latest jets through their paces in real combat. But the ability of missiles to connect head one means it might be more like 10% plane 20% pilot 35% electronic/avionics/stealth 35% missile capability
