Because the people in Kosovo "government" are all terrorists, who were trained in Al Qaeda camps and who killed and tortured Serbian civilians, raped women, massacred children... All of them.
The prime minister of Kosovo - Tachi, was the war leader of terrorist organization, called KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army). KLA has been officially recognized as "terrorist organization" by US government. He was also one of the most wanted people by INTERPOL, before Americans managed to pull him off. Tachi was not just the leader and commander of KLA, he also conducted mass executions of Serbs in Kosovo. By his hand! He is a blood thirsty animal! These are the people you Americans recognize as "governors" of this false country.

By the way, Ramus Haradinaj and Agim Ceku (former prime ministers of Kosovo who were in power since NATO and KFOR occupied Kosovo) are both war criminals, prosecuted in front of the International War Crimes tribunal in Hague. You can find tons of evidence on the web.
That is why they shouldn't be respected.

Right, my problem with Serbia not allowing Kosovar independence is Milosevic. Serbia started the whole mess. Serbia started the ethnic cleansing. Serbia has done far worse than the Kosovars. Don't go around saying the Serbians are innocent, b/c they are not.

Yes, Milosevic did some horrible things in Kosovo, but nothing in comparison what happened to Serbs after NATO occupied the province.

The die is cast - Kosovo is now an Independent Country with its good and bad - get used to it!
There is plenty of history to show people who were once called "terrorist" eventually becoming reconciled with democractic struggle such as Martin Mcguinness, Gerry Adams, Menachem Begin and now Tachi.
