Ok, there are more than few. In previous topics I spoke about division in Serbian society. But the part of Serbian society that I belong to IS disgusted by what happened. You can call me whatever you want, but I have no reasons to lie.

Well. You do. But I'll believe you. And from some of what I've seen I'll believe there are others. But the problem is that the "more than a few" seem to have some control over the police force. Which makes the prospect of letting them at the Albanians somewhat disturbing. Particularily if they feel they could get away with something while the US is busy in Iraq.

To a point they do. Somewhere in your "the rest of the world can sit and spin" policy you go from almost all agreeing with you to only some.

If I was a (*)(*)(*)(*) fool, then I'd go and set the American embassy on fire, fully aware of all the consequences such an act could result in. But I am not. And those who burned down the embassy were all kids , 17 to 20 years old. And somebody told them to do that.

I repeat, we don't wish to rule Albanians again. We would grant them the highest level of autonomy history has ever seen. But we shall never allow cutting off our territory which our grandfathers gave their lives for.

Amused; what would that "autonomy" of yours include so to speak? Would Kosovo for e.g. have the right to its own military? How about Albanians in the Serbian parliament, or Albanian news on Serbian TV? Or the Albanian language being taught in Serban schools?

Why does it matter so much to you that the land be "officially" called part of Serbia? Couldnt you also broker a peace treaty with them saying "We will recognize Kosovo in exchange for official recognition from the Kosovo government that Serbian graves not be disturbed, ect ect"? Wouldn't that give you the same thing?

You say you disapprove of American's "my way or the highway" cowboy approach to diplomacy, yet you want to employ it yourself.


You aren't in a position to "allow" or "disallow" anything.

Military - well I don't know. Too hard question for me. I guess not. But armed police - sure.

Albanians in Serbian parliament - most certainly! Albanians from Southern Serbia have their representatives in the parliament even now.

Albanian news on Serbian TV - of course. You had that even under Milosevic.

Or the Albanian language being taught in Serban schools - Most certainly! In all areas where Albanian population is predominant - your language would be taught in schools(Hungarians in Vojvodina enjoy that right for decades, it is a constitutional right)

Why not A military force???? Wouldn't that have added to the National military of Serbia..... Maybe because that's what allowed you to keep then oppressed.....

There are some Albanian in the parliament...... 1 or 2 and they can only attend but not introduce ideas...... they can sit and listen and keep their mouth shut.... I call that Democratic Serbia

Albanian News is not important..... they can just get a satellite box and get all the Channels from Albania....

I have spoken to Albanians from Kosova and they have told me that if you were arrested by a Serb cop and he would hear you spill out one word in Albanian.... by accident..... you would get the cr@ap beaten out of you just for the word...... Talk about linguistic freedom..... Why do you think that there are so many Kosova Albanians that turned away from schools...... You were forced to give up your language in order to go to school and if they would find out you still were proficient in Albanian..... you would be locked from attending.....

What about a less qualified Serb professor could get more then twice the pay then a more qualified professor who was Kosova Albanian.....
