I suggest that since those European members are all free market democracies - which is the best type of economic model to follow will allow them to adapt and remain competetive and properous for a long time to come .....

Or maybe the EU will truely unite as a single economic zone and be then they would be 2nd only (just) to the US.

Why can't you travel to Europe? or do you mean you wish to live and work in the EU zone?

Why do you think the EU will fall apart - I haven't heard that from anyone else - so please explain to me why you think that it will and by what means it will collapse. I think you are wrong about that - I only see the EU becoming more and more a single political/economic zone.

Russia has resources that is true - but if you study the Russian financial structure, it is a commodities-based economy and that is not a stable basis for the future. For example if oil/gas prices fall Russia will find it very difficult to pay for domestic infastructure - let alone anything else.

Also Russia import 40% of its food requirements and is very dependent of the EU amongst other economies
