Milosevic is the only world famous Serb for ignorant and uneducated people.

We do regret his doings and we have taken the responsibility for that. We've been trying to prove that for 8 years. And we will continue to do that until the bad image is changed and until we take back our place as an old and respectable European nation.

Taken out of the context. The guy is a writer, for Christ's sake, and you took the quote from one of his books. Irrelevant and overruled.

I'm of Croatian descent as well, it is because historically the Croats and the Serbs have hated each other.

Historically - no. There have been attempts of forced unification of ethnic Serbs in Croatia by converting them to catholicism, and that policy was encouraged by Vatican. Huge number of converted Serbs declare as Croats now.

However, the hate between the 2 peoples started to be strong during and after WW2, because Croats did some terrible crimes against Serbian population (see Jasenovac death camp) and it renewed in the 1990's. But the situation is much better now.

There was much animosity between the serbs, the slovenes, and the croats before and after WW1.
