your hating attitude is so predictable!

economies work on optimism, and the resolution of Kosovos status creates that spark. Will take time, but success will come.

You really are a funny guy, you know that?

I don't see what's the fun in that. When one plans on building something, one has to start from the beginning i.e a plan ( some sort of drawings ) on how you want the building(s) to be.

Raiffeisen to support a mega project in Kosovo

According to the Austrian newspaper "Wirtschaftsblatt", Raiffeisen Bank will support with loans a 250 Million EUR construction mega project in Prishtina, the capital city of Kosovo (photo).

The ENK Invest Group, owned by five local companies, has already started with the construction of the complex which includes offices, apartments, hotels and shopping malls. The complex, planned to be finished in 5 to 6 years, will offer over 285.000 square meters of floor space.

It is generally expected that the recent final solution of its political status, making Kosovo the youngest independent country in Europe, will increase the interest of foreign investors and will enable an economic boom in some sectors, such as construction.

Kosovar-Slovenian partnership to build Teknopolis

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Thaçi, accompanied by his Deputies Kuçi and Manaj , participated in a solemnity on the occasion of the construction of the Technology Park "Teknopolis" in the Shtime municipality.

Kosovo Prime Minister, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, congratulated the representatives of the Kosovar, Slovenian and Macedonian companies who will be establishing their businesses in this important economic complex.

"This is a very important day for the citizens of Shtime and its surroundings," said PM Thaçi, adding that he is there to give his full support to the Technology Park "Teknopolis" Project as well as encouragement to the good work which Kosovo has set on following its independence.

"This magnificent project will assist the development, modernization, but it will also increase the rate of employment in this area. Kosova Government will always be supportive of such projects," Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi promised.

Teknopolis will cover 10 hectares of land with nine industrial and educational buildings, which in the initial phase will employ 300 people. Some of the businesses to be hosted at the technology park are a factory of auto parts for Mercedes, Audi and BMW, a paper manufacturing company, a tourism and hospitality management high school, and a hub for innovation and technology.

We have come here to show that the Albanian-speaking market is one of the most important in the Western Balkans. There are are eight million poeple and in a few years there will be even more. This is the most important market in the former Yugoslaiva," stated Boris Klacnik, investor from Slovenia, who values the human potential of Kosovo, especially the young age of its people, as an important capital. Slovenian businesses consider Kosovo as a good jumping ground for conquering new markets.
