And it is not likley that caned food expires,it has to be at least 20 years old.

Actually, #7 did just the opposite. That is my main criticism of Nixon actually...that he stabbed the ROC in the back by recognizing commie china as legitimate.

I personally DONT want good relations with red china. They are not legitimate in my opinion. I would like nothing better than to see our relations worsened...but that isnt what Nixon did.

Not in their current form. You said that #7 (worsened relations with China) was done by Nixon. Nixon did not make relations between China and the US worse. He made them better. So your statement is wrong.

As for China being an empire; it will take them decades just to catch up to us in GDP, even if we assume they can maintain their current rate of growth.

Military prospects are even worse. China does not have cutting edge weapons technology, and that is not likely to change in the forseeable future.
