A group of Kosovo Serbs has demonstrated in the northern city of Mitrovica protesting against Serbia's decision to sign an agreement on closer ties with the European Union.

The protesters burned the U.S. flag and criticized Serbian President Boris Tadic for authorizing the signing of the accord.

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has opposed signing the accord unless it specifies that Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia. He says an accord without such a provision will constitute support for the February decision by Kosovo's ethnic Albanian majority to declare the area's independence from Serbia

Kostunica's voters, or radicals... No big deal. The majority of Serbs is PRO EU, and that's what counts.

You can find people opposing the EU even in EU countries.

Anywho, if Serbs know what's best for them they should vote for Tadic. But we'll see on 11 May...

Sure... I know i will vote for him... Anyway, I believe his party will win the elections (in a coaltion with some minor parties)

If he wins it'll probably be cause of the non-Serb voters, just like last time. Didn't Tadic just get 53 % of the votes on the last election?

So what? Non-Serb voters are citizens of the Republic of Serbia as well. Their vote is respected. They, unlike Albanians, consider Serbia to be their home and are always welcome in the structures of power.

Oh, here they go again.
