A new country was born and the whole world should welcome it. We are finally free from opression we have endured for years, among other countries who had to suffer because of claims such as "this is our land". No more shall be killed. No more shall be tortured. Accept it. Embrace it. Millions of people stood for Independence and many powerful countries gave us a go. Accept that too. We will be fine without Serbia. We will finally live our OWN culture, our own language, our own customs, our own system, we will ....BREATHE! Be free! We wont be forced to speak Serbian in schools. We wont be forced to live to your liking. We wont be forced to flee our homes.

Let it go. Make a positive change for your own government. Last thing you need to think about is another country. Look at your own.

While Kosovo is creating a new nation to a place where all Albanians can live a good life, creating our laws to give fairness to our people,rebuilding homes burned during the war...

Serbia is losing its integrity on social affairs, their own people are killing eachother, they are destroying a peaceful possibility in the world and burning American flags to show the world just how much they care.

You have Albanian Christians and Albanian Orthodox in Kosova as well, but that didn't stop the Orthodox Serbs from butchering, raping and burning down their houses and monuments. NOR did it stop the Orthodox Serbs from killing innocent Croats and ruin their Churches and historical monuments.

Everything will come in due time.

As I've said before, I can understand why many Serbians would be angry over Kosovo's independence. I personally prefer tribalism to globalism; therefore I like the idea of all nationalities represented by a government of that same nationality, to some degree. Ethnic Albanians in Kosovo (the majority of the population) would only continue to feel suppressed and bitter if they were ruled by Serbia. Just as a Serbian would feel the same way if Albania ruled him.

I can't see any peaceful conclusion to this except if Serbians accept Kosovo's independence, even if they do not agree with it. If Serbia takes Kosovo back, they could only take it by force I think, which would obviously cause much bloodshed. Even if they took it back peacefully, there would be resistance.

If Serbians continue to reject Kosovo, something will inevitably spark another war.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend Albanians. I just feel that this is the only way out of more war.
