Erroneous. The oil is from Albania. Serbia is buying oil from The Republic of Kosovo Petroleum. Read your daily "Politika"..must have missed it. It's even stamped : The Republic of Kosovo.

If Serbia doesn't want to govern Kosovar Albanians, and give them autonomy, then what is the point of keeping them within Serbian borders?

I mean it kind of sounds like there is a longstanding history of ethnic conflict, and Albania is a pain in the butt to Serbia. So, how does Serbia benefit, other than ego-wise, by keeping Albania? It seems to me that Serbians might find it easier to deal with them as neighbors and allies than as subordinates.

Kosova is very rich in minerals, that's why.

Catz, Albania is a country bordering Serbia. Kosovo is Serbian province.

By declaring independence, Kosovo became another Albanian and Muslim-dominant country in Europe, populated by poor people whose main income source is agriculture.

This is getting old, Amused. To use the Muslim-card is a cheap shot as the war that broke out in the late 90's had NOTHING to do with religion.

Serbia and its people should stop the whining already. The situation Serbia is faced with today, it has noone else to blame but herself.

But wait, then why is Kosovo exporting oil to Serbia if it's main income source is agriculture. Does Kosovo have access to oil reserves?

Serbia is not importing oil from Kosovo.

Yep, 7% of Serbs. Why didn't you write how you cleansed more than 250,000 Serbs who live in refugee camps all over Serbia now. What would the percentage be in case they returned?
