Default Serbian Crocodile tears

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...crocodiletears

An excellent article from Ian Williams of the Guardian newspaper, exposes the sanctimonious hypocrisy of the Serb admiistration, and how Serb rioters are on the payroll of the Serbian State.

Quote:
But grenades and gunshots tend to solidify issues. KFOR is likely to be a lot less patient in the event of future attacks. The sad thing is that the Serbs in Mitrovica are being used, indeed abused, by the nationalists in Belgrade who almost certainly hope to provoke Kosovar riots against the remaining Serbs in Kosovo. It would allow politicians to posture as perpetual victims, quite reckless of the cost already paid by Serbs in Krajna and Bosnia for their gesture politics.

Where as the Kosovans have much to be proud of, by showing restraint under provocation from Belgrade.

Quote:
Disappointingly for the nationalists, the Kosovars have, surprisingly, been a model of restraint, with the Serbs in the south seemingly safe and secure, albeit unhappy about the change of regime. There is an opportunity for reconciliation and a strong Serb presence in a future Kosovo that some Serbs realise is worth grasping.

Do the Serbs regret their trouble making? - No - not a bit of it, they just regret they never had a chance to complete the genocide of the Kosovans :

Quote:
one of the braver Serbs in Belgrade recently took note of what passes for regret in nationalist circles - a lament that Belgrade had not implemented a final solution, involving getting rid of all the Albanians from Kosovo after it had first occupied it.

This shows how incompetent and biased this author is. If he had known anything, then he wouldn't have said that Kosovo was "occupied" by Belgrade.

One country can not occupy its own territory.

Name another independent country with foreign civil control and full military occupation. I would like to see what is independent about that.

With Kosova's new constitution- that got into effect this month, June 15- the international civilian control won't be the same as the one when UN and UNMIK were incharge. They'll be there as supervisors. As for the military presence, they are there for a reason- to provide a safe and secure environment. Fow now, they are needed there.
