BELGRADE -- British rock legends The Police performed in Belgrade last night as part of their farewell tour.
In front of a crowd of some 30,000 in New Belgrade, the band with its full line-up of front-man Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland, ran through their full repertoire of hits from the Eighties, including “Message in a Bottle” and "Roxanne".
The band played a set lasting one hour, forty minutes in what was the tour’s only stop in South-East Europe. The Police now move on to Poland where they are scheduled to perform tomorrow, and the tour is due to have its big finale on August 7 in New York.
