Finland did not wan t to b e bataille during the war.Norway and Sweden did not want this t o happen so there did not let Briton and France access t o Fiinland. when Finland militare fight Russia,averybody know that Finland ally t o Germany.Finland stop Russia soldiers from crossing scandinaviae to attack Norway and Sweden then t o attack Germany ffrom the north by Danmark and Netherlandern. there much lives save when doing this. Finland did not like becusase Russia stjäla land from them in the war.

i can not find much information abaout this time during this war.can anybody add to this when i n Lapland with Russian,Finland and German militaire?

By the way, do you know that Luftvaffe had been bombing Soviet/Russian cities in Kola peninsula? Were the flights orginated in Lapland (aka Finland)?

yes,there was war with Finland and Germany.this i s why i cant understand how Finland was ally t o Germany when there have the war.my morfar h e say this i s not true. the vinterkriget kill many soldiers.

Yes, there was a Second World War. Germany attacked the Soviet Union on 22 July, 1941. The Germans went all the way to Moscow, then we pushed the Nazis back and stormed Berlin.

The Soviet-Finnish border was the only place which the German army could not cross. The Luftvaffe (German air force) did bomb the Soviet/Russian cities in Kola peninsula, but they didn't manage to occupy the land.

So, again - I am not sure what you are asking, Odin....

i read these websites and this is what i follow Finland and Russia.

in Vinterkreiiget 39-40 like you say, Russia attack on Finland, becuase Russia want the Karelian.Finland an d Russia come t o peace accord after Finland give RUssia Viipuri,Käkisalmi and Sortavala.

after Germany attack Russia 41 Finland was ally to Germany to take back this area includeing Karelia. Russia lead attack on Finland 44 on Karelia. Finland soon surrender and peace accord are made. Western alliansen attack German army in Lapland moving them to Norway. i didnt know there were german army in Norway in the war.

so,Finland and RUssia fight for land. Russia make navy base in Pirkkala near Helsingfors which they gave back to FInland after accord in 51.

is this what you follow here i n Finland and Russia? when Russia and Finland are in war, why do Gen. Mannerheim protect Leningrad from Germany? he have Finland militaire protect Leningard befojr Finland-Russia accord.

i need to b e educate o n the subject. i read the informaton and Russia d o attack Finland. when Finland surrender then RUssia build navy bas det är på vägen till Helsingfors.Finland get some of the land back during accord with Russia. this accord m y morfar he say Finland did ally with western alliansen to keep German army from advance t o Leningrad.
