Hello,
First, let me get this settled: Not all Albanians and Kosovars are Muslim. That is just a sterotype... it is only because Turks converted these people into Muslims.
Second, Serbia tried to exterminate Albanians and Kosovars. Innocent peoples' lives were taken away. Families were killed for no reason. Houses were burned.
I want to know why. Why did this happen?
By the way, I am very young (12), but that doen't mean I cannot be interested in polotics.

Turks didn't converted these people,they did that by themselves otherwise all of them would be Muslims by now. That is another stereotype.

Not all Turks are Muslim either, but let me tell you one thing: These people converted by their own will, if the Turks were up to converting local population into Muslims I believe they could manage to do it in 500-600 years when they ruled the whole region, if they used the same ways as Arabs back to the day where Arabs owned the caliphate. The majority population of Balkans were Christians prior to Ottoman conquest, it was still the same after the dissolution of the empire and it's still the same today. I assume your people converted to it during that period because of favourable status given to Muslims back to those years, adopted the religion, and didn't abandon it up to today.
