Remember those Vista commercials where they used a different name? lollolololol.

A couple years back I switched to Apple and have had NO problems that were common to PCs. I guess I saw that turd before it hit me .lolololol . YOu PC people are fun to watch.

How many of you here use Vista?

ANd Gates says he can't find enough qualified workers here in the states so he need more Visas for foreign workers to take the jobs. Public Schools run by democrats don't seem to graduate enough smart people. lololol

I have a name for Windows .......call it 'Anchor', you could use it as one.

I'm a Mac user, but I run Windows on a separate partition and my wife uses a Windows laptop.

Neither of us upgraded to Vista. Who needs a virus that masquerades as an operating system?

Here's hoping Microsoft will come out with a Windows update that isn't bloatware, slow and riddled with security holes.

YOu think by now they'd get it, switching to a MAC was like going back to grade school. Super simple.

I use vista and I honestly have had no problem with it. From what I've read they had major problems in the beginning but after a couple months a good number of them were solved and after SP1 most of them aren't an issue anymore.

I must admit, I use windows, and for the most part is does work, and I would switch in a NY minute if I didn't have a small fortune in windows programs.

It occurs to me, Gates is all about the money instead of pleasing the users, and enhancing the computer environment. I have found some serious glitches in his programs that frankly make no sense. Oh well, he has enough of us hooked on his pc drug, and it is hard to get off. I wonder if there is a 12 step meeting for this?

My daughter's laptop came with vista. Hardly any of her games work with it. She's had to have it worked on twice in the first 6 months. She's sorry she's got vista.

You Mac users crack me up. You buy a computer that is openly marketed to dumbasses. "If you can't turn a computer on, buy ours, we'll turn it on for you". Yes, Mac must be wonderful. They are not upgradable, they are expensive, and they basically run Unix. There was a time when Apple was the biggest computer company for PC's, which means Personal Computer, which of course, Macs are.

And if you ever worked in any office anywhere, especially before it ran Microsoft Office, you would know that Macs are a joke. Limited software, limited gaming, limited networking. Which of course is why all gamers or people who work in offices use Windows. Apple has a whopping 2% of the market and most of those are Teachers or children of teachers, who don't know how to run a PC.

But yes, if you don't know how to use a computer or protect one, you probably should buy a Mac and if you can, get AOL dialup. It's for dumbasses too.

By the way if Bill Gates really did say that he needs more programmers he is lying through his teeth. There are 10,000s of unemployed programmers due to the Visa program. I recall a segment on Jim Lehrer about the topic so I wasn't surprised when I found this after 30 seconds of searching. It's a little old (from 2004) but I doubt if much has changed since.

Commonsense would tell you if Microsoft was really desperate for employees they would just pay people to go to college. Bill Gates after all makes at least $1 million a day. That's enough to put over 50 people through college. Programming school isn't that long. Check your facts Fawkes before you spout your usual partisan nonsense. Nobody knows how little you know until you open your mouth.
