The spin is saying "the dems are funding more than Bush asked for." Bush didn't ask for money for spinach growers, livestock assistance or any of the other crapola the dems put in their plan.
Do you even attempt to research your drivel before your type it? I mean you are surely either getting bad intel or lying like a persian rug....I vote for the latter since getting intel in this sense of the word would mean you might have to do some research....

To help deal with an expected spring offensive by the Taliban in Afghanistan, the bill adds $1.2 billion to Bush's funding request for military operations in that country.

Just in case you don't like that source my dishonest or mistaken freind....

House Democratic leaders will try to build support for their measure by emphasizing that they would fully fund the U.S. troops already fighting in Iraq. They also will argue a need to put more resources, $1.2 billion more than Bush sought, into battling Taliban and al Qaeda forces regrouping in Afghanistan.

Whether you pass of fail this pop-quiz you will learn that a scheduled withdrawl timetable is a joke in any of these scenarios- whether they past of prrsent. Why then would you dare think it will work NOW?

Do you even have an exit strategy aside from stayduhcourse?

'Stay the course' seems to be working -don't you agree?
1)We haven't had another attack on our soil because of 'Stay The Course'

2)We've had the fewest military losses in US wartime History because of 'Stay The Course'.

3)The Iraqi people have functioning schools for their children and women due to 'Stay The Course'.

4) The Northern Provences and the southern port cities have minimal terrorism due to 'Stay The Course'.

It appears the liberals are the only folks who are not happy with 'Stay The Course'....and it's clear they do not like Bush to look good. Even at the expense of the Iraqi people. See Ted, the libs will throw ANYONE under the bus - US citizens, Iraqi citizens...to make Bush look bad.

Like I said Drunk, you have nothing except stayduhcourse and keep breastfeeding the free-iraqis forever.

Neocoons have no specific victory conditions for the US military's mission in Iraq. ie Op Iraqi Quagmire.

How can you prove this has anything to do with "staying the course"? The norm is that we do not have successful terrorist attacks on our soil. You might as well say "I haven't gotten a raise due to stay the course".
Frankly I know (*)(*)(*)(*) well that if we did have an attack, you would not be blaming that on "stay the course".

We'd have fewer if we weren't there.
We don't have fewer casualties due to "stay the course". We have fewer casualties due to having a better military. You do not know that there is not another course that would have saved more lives.

That's nice. So what else are we building? When does it end. Of course nice things have happened with the nasty... but where is the endpoint exactly. Are they ever planning to declare victory? Ever?

Minimal? How do you determine what is minimal and that another strategy could not lessen it more?

All I'm interested in is what exactly victory is. There's always this claim that the terrorists will simply hide if we make any plans to leave... So why not set exact perimeters for what needs to be done when? Let them come out of the woodwork to sabotage those plans and get themselves trapped.

ONE
How long between attacks on the WTC?
Answer around 7 years if memory serves...

How long since 9/11 attacks?
Around 6 years if memory serves....

Proof that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11?
None, nada, zip, zilch....

Reason for making this argument?
Because it plays well with the AM radio rubes!

TWO
We have had the fewest miliraty losses due to "stay the course"?
Nope we have had the fewest losses thanks to combat medicine break throughs....

"Stay the course" HAS given us more wounded and maimed then any war since....WWII if memory serves. But even that is the result of medicine not some crackpot politcally motivated strategy of not enough troops to do the job.

THREE
Newsflash the Iraqis had functioning school BEFORE we the Iraq war as well....do you just make this crap up or do you really only quote limbaugh and Hannity.

FOUR
The Northern Provences have littel terror becuase they have stabalized themselves by keeping the US forces out. They recognized that we were more trouble then good on this issue so they do not allow the US free access to their area....something they did not allow Saddam as well.

As to the rest of your screed....not even worth countering....suffice to say that your are either drunk on crack or just another lemming and liar.

I know you werent talking to me, but this post was just retarded, I couldnt help it.

First, there are plenty of people on all political spectrums who thought stay the course was a disaster of a plan...its actually the absence of any plan whatsoever. If it worked so well, why did we dump it and adopt another plan?

Secondly, we dont need nay help making bush look bad, he does a fine job of that on his own...probably the only thing (besides tying his shoes) that he can accomplish without assistance...actually I feel like I'm giving him too much credit with the shoes-tying.

We had no strategy, no exit plan and no money in the bank to invade iraq in the first place. If our strategy was to invade and ignore everyones plea, then do it right and invade. To achieve the expected results we did not have enough troops on the ground to begin with. On top of that, predictions of an insurgent uprising were ignored. See where that got us? Good thing we were prepared for that. Our exit strategy is still being published. Noone yet knows how this will turn out. Osama vowed to win the war against us by bankrupting us. We spend $10 billion a month in Iraq and it aint even our money. Its foreign money and absorbed into our already unfathomable debt. The longer we are there, the closer he is to victory.
