However, Bush did not appreciate the fact of the unpredictable future and thought the occupation would go more smoothly than it has. But the point is when I was keeping up with the Iraq campaign in the beginning and we had almost all of the country in our hands, I already thought to myself, 'We need more soldiers'. The troop numbers the army was mustering for offensives was pathetic. Our stationary duties had crippled our manpower in the field. Complications started to occur and new enemies appeared which the army is still struggling to handle. It should definately be the course of action to train the Iraqis and get them on those posts and in those forts but our army is not capable of responding to other threats right now at all.

The real foggy area comes from your opinion that the nation failed Bush. I completely understand your opinion and I was almost going to agree with you. But I don't think it's Bushes or the public's fault. It's the country's fault. My opinion is that this country has been attacked internally for so long, its inner strength, its unity is now destroyed if not severely compromised. The core structure of values, traditions, integrity has eroded so much people don't care anymore and don't believe in America. Some people don't even believe in countries for Christ's sake, today. There in I believe is why only a hand-ful of people (myself included) joined the military after 9/11. People have stopped believing and don't care anymore. We have failed ourselves by perverting this nation to the edge. That's the way I see it anyway.l
all they need is the country's support.

Its not your guys fault it Bush's fault..
Thats absurd.
Bush is not at fault for your unwillginness to stick it out. Bush has been one of the most stalwart focused leaders in this entire thing. He has barely wavered in his language and not at all in his commitment to stand besides the Iraqis come hell or high water.

If anything you failed him.
Ill defined? I dont think many of his failures are ill defined. I blame him for my own failings?

Not taking responsibility for 9/11 - Bush
Not finishing my degree before I turned 30 - Me
Rushing into war with no war plan, no strategy, no exit plan, while underestimating good advice that there very well might be an insugency AND ignoring a 1999 report that repeated simulations show that even with 400,000 troops things will go wrong - Bush
Not going to the gym enough - Me

I can pretty much figure who is to blame for what but bush cant. So he's focused and wavered. Big deal, it's an attribute of what makes a person great, but not the SOLE attribute. What about integrity? bush has none. What about honesty? bush has none. Just because he's focused doesnt mean we should all get on our knees whenever his name is spoken.

And please next time you post, run a spell check before you click submit. I recommend Firefox 2.0.0.3. Not only is it more secure than Internet Explorer, it checks your spelling as you type, whatever site you're at.

Or look at the screen as you type or something. Thanks.
