Hugo Chavez visited Moscow,said that EVEL EMPIRE OF AMERICA WILL FALL DOWN,LIKE ALL EMPIRES.....he will buy 8 submarines and new helicopters .........Is he real power?......May be realy USA will set,like USSR......UK one time was Empire,USSR was soviet Empire,USA is Empire,but when it would be WAS?.....

Well, if Bush hadn't spent the last 8 years pissing off just about every country in the world with this brazen attitude, perhaps countries like Russia and Venezuela might have less in common. But when "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" philosophy starts rolling, Russia could find itself in a pretty powerful position - again.

He must be. After all, he has 8 whole submarines now. And even Helicopters!!1!!1! If that doesnt inspire fear in the most power nation that has ever existed, nothing will. Right?

Maybe. But I'd rather have a pissed off Russian/Venezuelan alliance than Saddam in control of Iraq. It was an acceptable trade.

We can always sweet talk Russia later. And we'll be able to rebuild relations with Venezuela once it implodes after Chavez's inevitable mistakes screw it up beyond recognition.

Not unless it can find bigger friends than Venezuela.
