You do know that the intercepters that we are putting in Poland and porbably Hungary and Romania are designed to shoot down missiles from the Middle East right?

Missiles launched from russia would be on a different Ballistic track that the ABM's in Eastern Europe aren't being targetted against.

Not to mention, the ABM's aren't meant to target SRBM's and Cruise Missiles.

As for the freedom nations, look at how are we reacting to Cuba's support of Hugo Chavez in Venezuala, a country we feel is in OUR sphere of influence. The Russians don't really care if places like Kazakhstan are democracies or dictatorships: what they care about is that they look to Moscow and not to Washington D.C. or Brussels.

The thing is with our missile systems we are putting in E.Europe, most people do not want them there.
