Default what they dont say about KAMRAN SHAIKH

By Michelle Malkin

By now you've probably heard about Kamran Shaikh, the Pakistani man who allegedly took videotapes of skyscrapers, a Texas dam, and various public transportation systems. The news reports note that Shaikh is being detained for immigration violations, but I'm not sure any major news outlet mentioned that Shaikh says he entered the U.S. illegally by way of the Mexican border. The information is in items #6 and #13 of the affadavit located on SmokingGun.com.

Default 1991?

In the Dallas morning news he said he came in illegally from Mexican border (Tiajuana) in 1991. So, if true, that wouldn't have anything to do with George W. Bush or Homeland Security. Other than the fact that he was finally CAUGHT ON THEIR WATCH!!

Default ...

As I've written before, it is nearly impossible to secure our borders unless we want to spend billions upon billions on it. We have some of the largest border space in the world, and the border patrol would need hundreds of thousands of more employees for it be less porous, which would require billions more in funds.

Yes it dose. has Bush secured the border any better?? no.He has infact made it easier and his amnesty has inticed more to come. MAkes it much easier to get past any guards when they are swamped.

Default not listening...

You're not listening, I fear. We simply DO NOT have the funds necessary to protect our borders from terrorists. If they want to enter this nation, they're going to be able to do it. That's the "price of freedom," so to speak, and is the cost of living in an open and free democracy. Our defenses cannot rely on keeping them out of the country, since that's next to impossible, but on tracking them, their money, and their plans once they're inside.

We d have them if we stop this insane world police crap. there are more than enough resources and funds. Stop defendding nations that sale us out , stop foriegn aid to the same, get the trops out of those lands and bases . Oh yess ...we have more than enough resources and funds.

Freedom have nothing to do with letting law breaker non citizens in.Certainly NOt our freedom. Open free democracy allowes open boarders and an invation How again. I dont think you are talking about teh same thing. Securing the boarder will in no way destry or inhibit our freedon or democracy. Just how would it if you buy that?

If we can track them and their money we can keep them out.

Isolationism only leads to more problems. The U.S. is a superpower, and thus has a hell of a lot of stake in what goes on in the world. We need troops and bases in foreign locations, and sometimes we need to give money to parties that don't have our best interests in mind.
