And why should anyone, left, right or otherwise, believe Bush? Remember the WMD fiasco? See where believing that got us.
What hasn't been stated in this thread has to do with source and motivation. Fox News is well-known for using fear to influence the public. The motivation could be to influence those riding the fence to vote for McCain out of fear that Bush will start yet another pre-emptive war our taxpayers can ill afford. We're spread pretty thin; we need to make our choices wisely. Rome and Napolean learned the hard way, to name just two.
