I'm guessing this will turn into a "my nation's special forces are better than your nation's special forces" thread, but he are my two cents.

SAS
GSG-9
Delta

...and I'd focus some of the spotlight to the French Foreign Legion, even though they really aren't a special force, just a normal army division, but a very well trained one.

*nationalist fit*
Also...the Finnish Paratroopers are the best. Case closed...

Delta was ranked as 33. in NATO. I believe SAS came as first or second, while FSK came as third.l

I agree with you that the French Foreign Legion is very well trained.
I admire them a lot.
I also agree with you that the Finnish Paratroopers are good
Are you from Finland?

Yep, I'm Finnish. Though I've lived a lot elsewhere.

Could you give a link to the ranked special forces? I'd be nice to see and compare.

I'm surprised the FSK is ranked so high, not because of the training, but the experience. I'm just wondering where do they get their experience from? Launching guerilla raids on Sweden perhaps?

That's why I'm guessing the various US special ops are high up on the list.

Not surprised, just count it as one of the less well known special ops forces. I'm not sure where to find good information on them, google might help, but the official pages just give you the runaround, and sign-up forms.

Default sas are terrotists

The SAS are terrorists... SCUM they have killed innocent people, and have a policy of shoot to kill, documents have stated they took part in cold blooded murder in the occupied 6 counties.. they are a tool of the british state and an extension to british imperialism

Default FSK

We don't know very much about them. They're about 100-150 people.
Delta Force is as far as I know 10 000, that is why they aren't that good. They become more and more regular troops.

*** I'd say the SAS all things considered.

Personally though, I have a thing for the SpezNaz. There is really something about their practise of carrying severed ears of defeated enemies around on necklaces while going into combat.

Why exactly do you favor the FSK by the way?

Sincerely
Limonka

*** Suppose they get their experience from praticipating in covert actions all over the globe under NATO pretext. There were as far as I know FSK units operating in a wide range of countries and hotspots during the past decade including Kosovo and Aghanistan.

Sincerely
Limonka

Default New Zealand SAS

New Zealand SAS are very good considering their size (>250)
The American Navy SEAL's and British SAS are my other favourites.
