You seem to ask this a lot. You need to realize that this is an internet forum. No one here has any idea how bad your speech impediment is.

Too soon to tell. History may show that it was the catalyst to the kind of change that was needed in the Middle East.

It's not too soon, JP. You just need to keep with with current events. This thread should now be in the history section imo.

The ol'catalyst of change turn a dictatorship into a model democracy for other countries in that area' plan was good in theory.. but poorly executed in reality.

We could have done that "catalyst of change" plan with Afghanistan because the 911coalition already liberated A'stan by 2002. There was no need to invade Iraq in 2003.

It's now 2007. The nation building of A'stan into could, by now, be well on it's way to being finished IF our armies and resources weren't so spread out occupying all that muslim dirt.

If that was sufficient, why did everyone (even liberals) want inspections at all?
It's called getting intel on your opponent. We owned the skies of Iraq, the USA could have bombed at will anywere anytime with zero loses to USAF personnel. Having "official UN" spies on the ground was just icing on the cake.

You and Raytri and others have already debated the merits of the Iraq no-fly zones, we don't need to rehash that all over again (btw, anyone know which thread that was?)
