Won't change anything. I'm stone cold independent. I side with myself, and if I happen to agree with one side or the other, it doesn't mean a hill of beans to me.

 

I figured I'd have sided more with Gary Johnson.

 

Yeah, it kind of provides false choices for a lot of things, but it's pretty decent for a quiz.

You're like me, so you don't have a system of thought or group that you follow. We are those guys that never get much of what we want in a candidate lol.

Mostly centrist but slightly left!

I have got to quit being so compassionate and fair minded concerning my fellow man if I ever hope to be a real Rightwinger!

 

You can add your own stance to each one though, if you don't like the choices. I thought it offered a lot of choices compared to many other similar quizzes.

 

How strongly did you side with Johnson?

My results are probably very skewed because I attached more importance to a small number of things that are screwing up my results. For instance, I only picked most on the solitary confinement of juveniles question because I have actually been in solitary as a juvenile--it's pure torture and anyone who supports it is scum, in my book.

I agree with that. I can think of nothing more unhealthy for those troubled kids.

 

Yeah it's pretty good! I like that it looks at your selections based on things other than candidate preference.

 

On the test, it also gives you the option on the left hand side to rate how important a particular issue is to you.

 

88% with Gary. I have no clue about that part of our justice system so I can't even recall what I picked. It may be something I would be interested in talking to you about should there be a thread about it.

 

What does Trump actually stand for? I don't think anybody really knows so I think the poll creator had to take some liberties.

I ended up at 95% Trump, 79% Johnson, all others <10%. I seem to have agreed with Hilary the Liar on one question (prisons should be banned from using solitary confinement on juveniles)

 

LOL yup, we are screwed.

It's pretty crappy lol. They stick you in a room with nothing in it, keep the lights on really bright (they never turn off), and you basically sit there from between 3 days to months, depending on where you are and the circumstances surrounding the confinement. You eat with your hands and are lucky to get a bible to read. You sleep on concrete and get a pillow and blanket only at night, so you are freezing most of the day because they keep it super cold inside the room. You slowly go insane and start doing whatever you can to disturb the guards, just to get their attention. It gets to the point where you look forward to provoking them into a fight just to have some interaction. After you do that, they keep you in their longer because you acted out, and the cycle repeats indefinitely for some people. I knew a kid (16) who was in there for stealing a bike...he had been there five years when I left. Basically, they treat you worse than an animal, and then when you start acting like one they punish you for it. Most people are too damaged to ever function in normal society by the time they get out.

 

He stands for himself, IMO.

No worries, juvenile incarceration isn't something most people are familiar with. You cannot imagine the amount of insanity and human rights violations that were occurring daily.
