There is much talk on the Republican side that they will take the U.S. Senate. But in order to do that it is first going to take people who are willing to relinquish much of what they have rightfully earned throughout their years of hard work and savings. Things like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Equal Rights, Equal Pay, Better Education for Our Students, Cleaner Water, A Cleaner Environment, and So Many Other Vital Things that gullible American people could lose by the votes they cast in favor of a political party that is not for them and would not help them to retain these vital things, the Republican Party. And let's not forget that they also want to repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) so that those who now can get medical coverage with a pre-existing condition or conditions would not be able to any longer if they get their way. Also, children may not be able to remain on their parent's medical plan after a certain age, both reversing what the ACA Patient Bill of Rights currently provides.

So, while Republicans feel they have this race all sewn up in the U.S. Senate, it is ultimately the American People, the Voters, who will say GOODBYE to what they could be continuing to receive just by voting for those who would most assuredly drastically reduce or even take away that which most Americans depend upon to live. We just have to ask, is that a Risk you are willing to take and is it worth it just to get Republicans in power by helping them take the Senate?

 

Continuing to receive these benefits requires more than just voting for them. It also requires paying for them.

Perhaps if we stopped our Bankster Military Industrial Complex from spending such an
enormous percentage of our National Treasures on weapons of war, and on sorry sick
new ways to kill and control people .

Perhaps if we forced these miscreants to cease from spending our countries wealth on
foreign wars and entanglements calculated to steal and control the wealth and resources
of other nations. Entanglements sponsored by American Corporate interests, Wars based
on bald lies, from which they incur their power, while at the same time curtailing ours

Perhaps if we came to understand that all wars are Bankster Wars, meant to enrich and
protect the position and power of this small yet obscenely wealthy elite, and that the
wars and regime changes that are sponsored by these malignant psychopaths, are all
propaganda driven.

Perhaps if we came to realize that we are being spoon fed a near constant dose of this
Media driven Pabulum, and that only by a concerted re-evaluation of our own self and
our cherished values can we hope to ever be able to discern the truth and fact that is now
being hidden in a Poisoned Well of misinformation, disinformation and lies

Perhaps if we come to realize that these wars are ultimately enabled by our own sorry
stupid, dumbed-down, brain washed complacency, compliance, and consent, and thus we
are made a party to the Crimes of those who control us

Perhaps if we demanded that our elected officials cease supporting and giving huge
amounts of monies and weapons to various Apartheid and Tyrannical regimes. Regimes
that have consistently been shown to neither respect us. Nor have they been shown to
give a damed about the principals of fair and just International Law and Human Rights
that are supposedly espoused by those who champion the so called Exceptionalist
American Way

Perhaps if we demanded that the DHS and the NSA, be curtailed. Both agencies
which were both purposely created and put in place, to surveil our dissent and curtail our
rights and freedoms, and who’s full and ugly powers can now be turned on against us at
the flip of a switch to crush, ruin, threaten or destroy ALL who offer opposition to this small
...................................................................................................................controlling elite.

Perhaps if we demanded the repeal of the so called Patriot Act and the NDAA and called
for the immediate restoration of Habeas Corpus, the cornerstone upon which our rights
and freedoms are built

Perhaps if we demanded that the Criminal Enterprise we know as the CIA be reigned in
and be made to cease and desist from importing Drugs and Torturing perceived enemies

Perhaps if we demanded that the CIA cease and desist their involvement in creating
--Boogie Men-- enemies for us to Fear and Hate. - Enemies like Al-Queda or ISIS.
Enemies who are used to further their criminal agenda and are calculated and pollute our
spiritual lives with the same sort of Fear & Hate for the ‘other’ that Evil regimes have
used to control their Sheeple throughout all history

Perhaps if we demanded that the FED Banks be reigned in, and forced to cease printing
their Bogus Fiat Debt based currency. Creating THEIR money out of thin air, and then to
be allowed by our Co-Opted Government to charge us any % of an usury interest on that
debt, that they deem advisable at the moment to their advantage,


Perhaps if we brought this corrupt, bought and paid for Co-Opted Government to heal
and impeached the elements that can be shown to be enemies & traitor to the clear
precepts of the constitution

Perhaps if we reverted to a system whereby our currency represented some Real asset

Perhaps it we demanded the formulation & establishment of a society were by Realities
such as the rights and freedoms of People, trumped, and were held more valuable than
those of mere Abstracts such as Dollars


Perhaps if we regulated your Scofflaw Corporations – revoking their False personhood,
or at least demanding that they be made to pay the same and penalties of Death or
Imprisonment, that any normal Real person is made to pay for his or her crimes

Perhaps if we declared those Corporations Guilty of Crime, who off shore and steal or
sell our jobs to the Puppet member Nations of their Empire, Who then oppress and
exploit their people to degrees way beyond slavery.

Perhaps then America could afford provide jobs and homes to the dispossessed and
disenfranchised

Perhaps then could America provided a Living Wage to anybody who works a 40 hr
week rather than the grossly insufficient Slave Rate that the present minimum now
provides. A minimum that must now be subsidized from the public purse in order to
avoid malnutrition and riot

Perhaps if we finally come to realize that the Democrap/Rupugnantcan dichotomy
is patently false – that this political game is a Fools puppet Theatre meant to polarize Us
and make us dance to the Us against Them tune. & that no matter who we vote for –
The policies & agenda adopted will be THEIR Policies & Agenda –

Unless the OP is trying to say that the average voter is an idiot and doesn't know any better then I fail to see what the point of this thread is.

 

Don't kid yourself. The only reason 'some' Republicans may be leading in the polls is because many people simply fail to recognize the destruction they will inevitably suffer should Republicans take the Senate and how it will ultimately affect what they want and need that the Democrats have provided for them and that continue to fight for so that citizens can retain certain benefits and services that are definitely not on the right's agenda to fight for and protect. So, that's how the right gains ground by trying to pull the wool over our eyes to make us believe that their way of ruling is better than that of the Democrats. But that plainly isn't so. You have much to lose in CUTS and benefits as well as human rights inaction by voting for right-wingers.

We? Half the nation pays no income tax. We spend $13,000 per person annually and only 19 out of 20 families making a contribution pay even that. We can't afford even a fraction of what we spend.

I don't recognize your right to decide which programs are desirable, should be prioritized, or a right to force others to comply with your wishes. You want to start working on reducing spending to a level 'we' can afford it, I'm happy to have that discussion. For most of us that type of discussion starts with a budget, it starts with deciding what 'we' can afford to spend. What do you think the price of citizenship should be?
