Maybe some of you business "experts" would like to explain why UNICEF was building schools in Banda Ache and Ache Besar District in 2005 after the earthquakes and Tsunami hit these regions in December 2004?

If UNICEF was already building schools in these regions, then why did Australian politicians give Indonesia another $500million tax payers money to build “schools” in the same bloody place in 2010?

$500million dollars of Australian tax payers money was used as a bribe for some other purpose!!

I just wish some of you people wouldn’t talk shyte all the time.

Google search: who built the schools in Ache:

I wasn't going to insult poor old deluded "bugs" that harshly, but if that's the ability of his intellect, then it doesn't say much for the people who hired him, and what was the aid project he is referring too: building a "cubby house" in the local park for the kiddies!!

Why did you deliberately misquote me?

That is a very dishonest thing to do.
    What I wrote:
it is amazing how many people don't realise that most of the money actually ends up being paid to Australian companies to do work overseas - and hence never actually leaves the Australian economy.

There is still no affirmations from these keyboard do-gooders & geniuses as to WHY Australians should be borrowing $4billion every year to give away in foreign aid.

How does this make economic and financial sense - please enlighten me?

Until such time as you do-gooders are willing to borrow $10,000 and give it away to a stranger in the street, then you need to shut your mouth on the subject, because that’s exactly what politicians are doing.

Even you should understand that you don't borrow money then give it away to strangers, otherwise just name a time; date and place where you are going to be handing out that 10 grand to that luck stranger, cause I want to be there. Just don't have the guts do you?

Making a comparison between foreign aid for nation states and lending money to strangers on the street is extremely naive and ignorant.

They are not even remotely comparable situations.

I'm sorry, I didn't know the president if Indonesia and the troll queen were related, but then again, its not the troll queens money that she is giving away is it: its the Australian tax payers!!

$500million dollars of Australia tax payer money sent to Indonesia as a bribe to fund school building projects in 2010 that were already being built by UNICEF in 2005. If UNICEF had already built the schools, where did the $500million dollars of Australia tax payers money end up??

Don't tell me about naive & ignorant; I'm not the one looking at this through rose coloured glasses.

Why highlight an Austrian flag then, and not an Australian one?

I think you need to learn how to read. Not only the websites of the individual companies I provided (as you asked for) - but also of the Ausaid programe they contributed to:

LOGICA's Australian team leader, Jeff Herbert, believes Australia's response was very effective. 'What AusAID did, as the lead agency, was to coordinate and respond to emergency needs immediately after the tsunami. When assistance from other countries started flowing in, Australia identified the gaps and filled them in a way that avoided duplication and wasted resources.'

He said Australia did not just build a hospital or a school but 'made sure that the hospital was staffed with well-trained and well-equipped doctors and that the school had teachers who operated within recognised teaching standards.' This work continues today through the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Reconstruction and Development, which is supporting Indonesia's reconstruction and development efforts.

If you ask a question - don't get upset when someone answers it for you. You really should learn a little bit about a subject before posting

No - you are the one ignoring everything anyone tells you. That pretty much defines "naive & ignorant"

Firstly; you have a duel USSR & Aboriginal flag listed on your profile, but you state: “…as a proud Asian myself”. Contradiction in terms don’t you think?

Secondly; may I suggest some English classes at TAFE.

Thirdly; I am not an indigenous Australian. I am fifth generational Australian, and very proud of it. Unlike some individuals, I consider Australia to be my country and my home, and not just my adopted country or just a place to live for the time being like some many other foreign inhabitants do.

Personally, I don’t give a “rats hairy crack” about what Indonesia or the rest of the clod throwers think about me or what I say. I have travelled extensively, and I know for a positive fact that our so-called close neighbours are just using us, and if Australians were not giving them “hand-outs” in free financial aid, they would want nothing to do with us.

In retrospect what do that say about them, and what do that say about us - nothing to do with bloody friendship or that politician introduced catch-phrase called multiculturalism. Its called let anyone came here because we need to increase our population.

Our Asian neighbours are laughing their heads off, because they know they are killing us competitively with cheap human labour. They also know realise and comprehend that within a decade or two, ( say in 2020) their workers will be on living standards & salaries comparable with what Australian workers are on now in (2011).

There will be just two big killer blows when this happens: Australia will be forced to import everything at prices comparable to the same as if Australians were able to manufacture it themselves, but unfortunately by then, Australians will have lost the knowledge and technology to produce and manufacture almost everything. In 2020, Australia will be lucky if it has the intellectual capacity to manufacture a cotton bud.

These so-called Asian friends of ours are just waiting silently for all manufacturing and knowledge to leave Australia so they can pounce. I suppose the Aboriginal people will be able to have a good laugh and point the finger and say: “what goes around, comes around”.
