I am curious. Were any of you one of the Obama followers and voted for him in 2008 who has seen the error of your ways, and what changed your opinion of him?
I voted for him in 2008, and I have been disappointed in many things he has done- and I approve of many things also. If there was a reasonable alternative, I would certainly be willing to consider voting for someone else- I liked John Huntsman. But I won't vote for any of the remaining Republican candidates.
Yes, I voted Obama. Because voting Republican would have been the worst decision this country would have ever seen. More war, higher gas prices, worse national debt due to more war+cut taxes. Obama saved our country. Show some respect. Next vote Ron Paul to save our debt crisis caused by Bush.
No Obama has destroyed our country, and he wasted trillions of dollars. Respect? I cant say what respect is for I may get a visit from the men in black. I say if he somehow wins the election impeach him. If that does not well civil unrest is in order. Four more years of Obama will destroy this country. The debt? You haven't seen anything yet, when the bill comes due from borrowing the trillions that he wasted on such silly stuff as the green energy start ups like Solora, a HALF A BILLION dollars gone, one of hundreds ... Reva
Hahahahahahahahahahaha. This actually made me laugh. Debt crisis caused by Bush? Thats outrageous! His debt was high by former standards, but Obama beat his 8-year record in less than 4. Obama has been a dismal president. Under him gas prices more than doubled, college tuition went up, standard of living went down, record food stamps, record debt, competitiveness went down, and we were downgraded for the first time EVER. To say that some relatively small tax cuts and a military budget that pales in comparison to entitlements is just hilarious.
You should really educate yourself. It's Solyndra and it was Bush that originally granted them credit. The loan guarantee program that helped Solyndra "was a program that was supported by President Bush." http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...fe/solyndra-loan-george-w-bush-david-plouffe/
I fail to see how Obama has destroyed the economy. Any look at the numbers would show otherwise. The debt is high but the debt has been high for a long time before Obama.
You have so many things going against you to prove just how wrong you are. You're a foreigner, you're too young and wet behind the ears, you obviously support socialism and you haven't earned a decent pay check yet in order to come to the conclusion that higher taxes and foolish government over spending of those taxes ends up crippling a nation or any nation. But thanks for your input anyway.
Yes I did. I changed my mind when he indebted us more then every president combined since George Washington up to Bush II. Wow, that's a powerful ad right there.
Total deficits under Bush with a Republican Congress FY2002-FY2007, $1,675.4 TRILLION. 6 years! Average, $279.23 BILLION PER YEAR. Total deficits under the Democrat Congress FY2008-FY2011, $4,464.6 TRILLION!! 4 years. Average, $1,116.5 TRILLION PER YEAR. Total increase in national debt under EIGHT YEARS of Bush with both Republican and Democrat Congress. $4,899,100,310,608.44= $51.0 billion per month. Total increase in national debt under THREE YEARS of obama and a Democrat Congress. $4,786,153935,929.06 = $129.4 billion per month. If spending and debt is your criteria, obama is spending at a rate FOUR TIMES faster than Bush, and increasing the debt at a rate TWO AND A HALF TIMES FASTER than Bush. SOURCE: http://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/NPGateway That is treasury.GOV, not Fox News or Limbaugh And the tax cuts put $1,800 TRILLION into the hands of the middle class to decide how they wished to spend it, rather than give it to the govt to waste. And if you're curious, the Bush tax cuts also put an extra $420 billion into the hands of the rich while it saved the middle class $1.8 TRILLION.
NO! I voted for Obama, and I am very happy with the progress he has been able to achieve after inheriting the last administration's fiasco and in spite of the constant hatred and barriers thrown at our President by the GOP and the vitriolic Right wing media. In fact, I am even happier with Obama since he abandonned the vain attempts to compromise with the right and he is doing what needs to be done in spite of the Right. I will proudly vote for Obama again. . . But I notice that your bogus poll doesn't include that option, right? Is that a purposeful effort to fool stupid people? Or do you truly not know how to create a valid poll?
I voted for President Obama and I think he has done a remarkable job considering the state of the nation he was handed and the complete lack of cooperation from the republicans. In fact he has had nearly 4 years now of open warfare from the GOP on every single thing not only he has wanted but simple day to day operations of the Govt have been turned into a months long fight by the republicans. Faced with that I think everyone can agree he has done a pretty good job. I intend to vote for him again, the republicans have offered nothing and I do mean nothing in the way of solution's or candidates.
If was destroyed byt the republican log before President Obama was elected. You want to talk about spending??? Look at your parties wild spending before you wrongly attach it to this President. Remember, somewhere out there is 2 billion in cash the bush admin can't account for, they spent a trillion bailing out the banks... and 3 more trillion on 2 wars. The right has NO room to whine about spending.
Care to post a link to this "phantom" $2 trillion? An official link, not some lying radical stupid left wing nut idiot site. Total deficits under Bush with a Republican Congress FY2002-FY2007, $1,675.4 TRILLION. 6 years! Average, $279.23 BILLION PER YEAR. SOURCE: http://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/NPGateway That is treasury.GOV, not Fox News or Limbaugh. You have some official site that can confirm your liberal lies that's better than the US Treasury that is now under the control of the obama administration? It is incredible that anyone could be so extremely gullible as to believe such obviously biased LIES. But that is exactly how obama got elected. Here is an example of the silliness of the left in believing craziness. The left blogidiots claim that Bush never PAID for the 2 wars. Where did that ridiculous nonsense come from? The first year of the war was not in the budget because the budget was written before 9-11 and no one knew we would be going to war. So it was what is referred to as "off budget." Over time, brainwashed liberals rewrote the truth to be "off the books." Every cent of the war costs and every other cost is included in the deficit. If it was an 'off budget" item it is not included in the "budget deficit" but is still in the Federal deficit and is added to the national debt. Your phantom $2 trillion is 100% a figment of a lying liberal imagination.
Tell you what you include the cost of the wars Which with all your juvenile name calling you fail to do) and the 2008 budget in your numbers....you know for honesty sake....and then we can talk. And maybe you should look again, it's 2 billion not trillion that bush lost in cash someplace in Iraq. Why is spending a bad thing only when a Democrat does it?
The cost of the wars IS in the deficit numbers and in the debt increase numbers. And the treasury has established that the cost of the 2 wars from the beginning to Jan 2010 was right at $1 trillion dollars. Every cent up to Jan 2009, charged to the Bush administration. That is one trillion dollars total, not per year.. And the lost $2 billion,,,,,,,,Check with Solyndra, other Green Energy companies and, the Chevy Volt, you'll find the $2 billion plus interest. What your $2 billion is, is government waste and inefficiency. That's Government Bureaucracies, not administrations. All administrations vow to fix that, Bush AND obama both made such vows. But they never do. Cutting way back on Govt size will be the best fix of the waste and inefficiency. But the Democrats absolutely will not do that and I give the Republicans less than a 1 in 100 chance they will. And calling liberals exactly what they are is just the truth.
And I guess the 800 billions stimulus was also credited to Bush. . .who initiated it? And I guess the consequences of 2008 crash. . .due in great part to the Bush administration policies had no consequences beyond January 20, 2009? And obviously, neither did the budget for 2009 drawn in 2008? The global economic slow down is ALSO Obama's fault, right? And it is obviously Obama's fault that Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy is continuing to add a huge burden on our budget. . . Fair and balanced. . .just like Fox News, right? LOL!
And the TRILLION the Bush administration spent bailing out the banks????????? 1. $700 billion was authorized. 2, Much less was ever expended. Around $300 billion not disbursed under TARP. But USED by obama for other programs. 3. As of July 2011, according to Timothy Geitner, ALL but $50 billion of the disbursed TARP funds, had been repaid. That $50 billion is lost as the companies that received it went OOB. 4. The TARP law called for any amounts repaid to be used exclusively to reduce the national debt. The obama administration used TARP repayments for mortgage relief programs, thus burning through the money in FAILED mortgage relief programs. 5. T.A.R.P. Was passed by a DEMOCRAT HOUSE, and DEMOCRAT SENATE. And TARP was NOT in the budget that the DEMOCRATS passed. Presidents submit budget PROPOSALS, Congress passes US Budgets. For instance, so far NO obama budget PROPOSAL has been passed by either a Democrat controlled Congress or the split Democrat Senate/ Republican House. We have now. Democrats have not passed a budget since March 2009. The new Republican House passed a budget on time and delivered it to the Democrat Senate. There it still sits. The singular thing the Democrat Senate has done on a budget is reject obama's 2012 proposal 97-0. Now its time for a FY 2013 budget, and the Senate has yet to act on any 2012 budget other than rejecting obama 97-0
I was unable to find a single link to a single item you claim as fact. Where are your official links? I used the US Treasury. You dispute that with liberal nonsense. Not a fact in evidence. Show me something or ****.
Had I done what you suggested the Poll would have been slanted. On purpose I made sure it was not slanted like polls from The Left. One thing...Right Wing Media. Please tell me what station. I could use some "good" news for a change!
