    I found the whole 'We, the people' thing more than a little obnoxious. It implies that the majority of people agree with him, rather than about a quarter of the population agreeing with him (only half the population in general voted), and it has that distinctly politician-esque sound to it. 'We the people', 'In the name of George Washington', 'Paise god' and all that. They always sound insincere when a politician says them.

    that and many that voted for him on the right, were voting against Hillary, not for him

    not at all, Clinton got the most votes, but that was not what decides elections, it's the electoral votes, not the peoples votes
