I wouldn't go there period, because I'm not entirely sure which one of Africa's 53 countries I'd be sent too and that one of those countries might be in a state of crisis. Believe it or not, Africa is NOT a single country.
What a completely ignorant comment. Let's see, you rape and pillage a nation, take their people, steal all their resources, install military bases. Use the stolen people as free labour for hundreds of years, when they rebel and over throw you you want to send them back to the nation you destroyed. No, it doesn't work like that. You made your bed, now sleep in it.
See Dutch East Indies company.. They brought the first slaves to the new world as labor for the sugar plantations. If you want to go back before 1500.. go to the Viking slave trade or the Romans or Greek slave trade...
we didnt do anything, none of us had anything to do with slavery or pillaging of any nation. nobody alive today is responsible for any of that. get off it.
If there are reparations for slavery, perhaps jewish people should be taxed more to contribute their fair share. American history books rarely mention this, but around 90 percent of white men in the south did not own slaves. Most of the early slave auctions were closed on jewish holidays because the jews were so prominent in the slave trade. The reason for this was that jews were often relegated to business concerns that were seen as too "dirty" or "dishonorable" for the english aristocracy and merchant class, and the jews also had no qualms about charging interest rates, which was not sanctioned by most Christian churches. By some estimates, one quarter of the slave ships were financed or owned by jews. http://www.africaspeaks.com/articles/nacs0502.html
for paying for my own education and working during the time. I also want reparations for having to deal with black people as a child and teenager. Gimme sum gubment cheese or I shoot you. How is that for a reparation?
Your ironic and interesting take on this subject is duly noted. You might want to direct that question to our resident black expert, Mickfrick. I'm sure he'll devise a slippery dodge to the question.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzyVbtOUdIE"]African Origins of the Blues - YouTube[/ame] Here is an amazing video documentary that shows pretty conclusively that the actual slave traders were fellow Africans. According to musical archeology, the blacks that lived in the Savannah were caught and enslaved by blacks living in the rain forests near the coasts and were sold to the slave merchants there. The proof is in the musical roots of our own Blues music. The rain forest Africans have completely different musical traditions than the Africans living north of the coastal jungles on the African Plains. The Africans living there today on the plains have music that matches almost exactly to our own Blues tradition. The Jungle Africans on the coast do not. The reason our Blues exists in its present form is because the roots of the music was imported from the Savannahs of Africa, not the Jungles that was believed for a very long time by musical ethnologists.
They were not Africans, besides, 'African' is a european word invented to hide the true identity of the captives taken by europeans. Also the evidence suggests that the people you are accusing were the victims of entrapment. Entrapment; the luring by a law enforcement agent of a person into committing a crime. See, if you knew the history you would be aware of the truth but you don't know the history because you couldn't care less, americans have this hatred of history because they have such a disgraceful one. No surprises there.
Flanders: Have you ever heard of the Sugar Jews? The first slaves to the new world were brought to Recif Brazil by the Dutch as labor on the Sugar Plantations.. .. and Jewish investors soon bought stock in ownership of all the slave ships.
It is of no surprise that jew ish people were deeply involved in the captivity. This is how religion works, they suppress and oppress those they seek to supplant.
Correct, the individual in question was an Omani Arab. He is the individual that euroecentrics use as their defense despite not knowing his actual heritage. That is plain ignorance on their behalf.
